Santa Maria Beach on the northeastern side of Paros is a large, well known, organized beach offering golden sand, turquoise waters, and watersports. It is a popular, wind protected spot, highly recommended for families due to its shallow clear waters.

Santa Maria is not a single beach but an area encompassing two main beaches: the large Santa Maria Beach and the smaller Mikri Santa Maria. Santa Maria Beach is a long, sandy stretch of coast renowned for being organized, having shallow, clear waters, and being a popular windsurfing spot due to the wind conditions. It is also known for its beach clubs and restaurants. However, Mikri Santa Maria, often described as an even more "exquisite, peaceful, and genuine" side of the area, is a pristine, sandy beach with crystal clear waters. It is also close to the village of Naousa (about 6.4 km away), making it an easily accessible beach escape.
